Acaraki Jamu Brewing

Acaraki Jamu Brewing offers an immersive experience centered on the cultural heritage of *jamu* (traditional Indonesian herbal medicine), while inviting participants to witness firsthand the revitalization of *jamu* preparation through contemporary brewing techniques—much like those used in manual coffee brewing.

Through live brewing demonstrations, visitors can learn about and observe the process of crafting *jamu* from raw spices—such as turmeric-tamarind (*kunyit asam*) and ginger—using manual brewing tools like the Rok-presso, French press, and capsule machines. These methods create innovative *jamu* creations such as "Golden Sparkling" (a blend of turmeric-tamarind and sparkling water), "Jaman Batu" (a mix of three ginger varieties, fresh lemon juice, and honey), and the "Moringacha Latte"—an Indonesian take on matcha made from 100% moringa leaves, prepared using traditional matcha ceremony tools and techniques. This activity goes beyond merely brewing and enjoying *jamu*; it is an effort to repopularize *jamu* in the urban era and introduce a new way to celebrate cultural heritage while nurturing the body. Let us celebrate our cultural heritage—let us brew *jamu*!
